About Guy Gone Geek

Guy Gone Geek is a book blog maintained by me, a book geek. I’ve chosen Guy Gone Geek as my blog title because 1. I’m a guy 2. also a geek and 3. the books I will review or feature here are mostly about guy-friendly books. If you’re a lazy person like me, you can call my blog simply 3G. However, if you’re feeling totally nerdy, you can call it G3. *big grin*

My reviews tend to be rambly, forgive me for that. I can also be a bit passionate — that’s cheesy in other terms — on my review if there’s something to be passionate or cheesy about. I can also be a total a**hole if I hated the book. So if you found me bashing a favorite book of yours, please accept my sincerest apologies. One thing’s for sure, I won’t be writing critical or what they call ‘intellectual’ reviews. Those things sucks the fun out of reading. It completely opposes my reading philosophy which is reading for fun.

About Aaron Vincent

My name is Aaron Vincent, 19 yrs. old and a system developer. Half of my day is spent on Earth and half of it on the rich and cosmically amazing land of fiction. I read books that are middle-grade fiction(that’s juvenile fiction for some) or YA fiction. My favorite genres are dystopia, sci-fi, fantasy, teen literature or just any book that will give me a fun reading experience. I have an unbridled passion for books about war, violence, vicious villains and badass chicks. And I always had this suspicion that I am actually a fictional character trapped in this world. From what book I came from? That, I have yet to discover.

To know more about me minus the book geekiness, go to my personal tumblog: It’s the G World.

And if you have something to tell me — suggestions, recommendations or even complains and criticisms, feel free to comment on any posts or send me an email at imaaronvincent[at]gmail[dot]com. :D

  1. Hey there, Guy Gone Geek.

I was interested to see that you actually have Patrick Ness’s diary there. Am I to assume you’ve also read the amazing Chaos Walking trilogy?

I’m still waiting to get my hands on Monsters of Men.

    Keep writing!
